Our NEW School Training program designed to keep your athlete engaged and better prepared for Middle & High School cheerleading. This program will focus on all the basics of school cheer; Tumbling, Jumps, sideline cheers/chants, and stunting. We will practice in a team setting and bond in place of fall cheerleading. We will end the program with a school routine exhibition in the Stingray gym. School training program runs through November and ends with a final exhibition. Questions? Our cheer classes do not require attending competitions or purchasing uniforms. These classes are strictly for those who would like to learn the fundamentals of cheer!
Attire: Comfortable clothing and sneakers
Introduction to the fundamentals of cheerleading for ages 8-15. Basic to intermediate skills will be taught based on proper progressions for tumbling, stunting, baskets, motions, jumps, cheers & dances, in a safe and age appropriate manner.
- Youth Cheer : 8 to 12 years old
- Junior Cheer: 12-15 years old

- Mini Cheer : 5 to 8 years old

- Mini Pre Cheer : 3 to 5 years old
A stunt group is provided for athletes to learn and develop beginner through advanced partner stunt and basket toss skills. The class will stress safety, consistency, proper timing, body positions, skill progression, transitions and dismounts. Skill specific drills and stretching are provided to reinforce learning and promote greater flexibility. This class is designed for those who want to learn to fly, base or back spot.
