INTRODUCTION TO TUMBLING CAMP
Introduction to Tumbling Camp is designed for the beginner athlete with very little to no formal experience. Proper warmup progressions will lead the beginner tumbler into a series of exercises, drills and stretches. Activities for hand/eye coordination, body awareness and general dexterity will aid in the tumblers ability to adapt to new tumbling skills. Tumblers will then be introduced (often times with assistance) to skills such as forward/backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, roundoffs, bridges, backbends, kickovers, limbers, back/front walkovers and more. All of this will be done with the aid of experienced instructors with new and fun state of the art tumbling equipment. Please have your camper bring a drink and a snack!
